I have always had a love for vintage and quirkiness so it’s no surprise I live in an old restored farmhouse surrounded by upcycled furniture and quaint collectibles many found in vintage and thrift shops My most memorable find was a vintage necklace made of lamp work beads and so began my love of beading I was hooked and beadhappyshop was born On my journey I discovered polymer clay and became captivated by its versatility limited only by my imagination I design and handcraft my jewellery at my home in Co Kilkenny Ireland with meticulous attention to detail My inspiration comes from all things vintage and nostalgic Think glass beads pearls antique bronze and copper findings It is a labour of love from the inspiration to the colour blending to the final sanding and polishing process and finally to you my valued customers
